Nagy was doomed before he even got there.
And foolishly traded away several picks to do it. And after opening up the vault to bring in Glennon. That's right up there with Ricky Williams/Herschel Walker.
Then they traded away more picks to get Mack, and even more to get Fields. Sure, Mack is great, and Fields could be great, but they simply had too many holes to fill to trade away picks like a drunk stuffing dollar bills into a stripper's g-string. [Reply]

Nagy has whatever power Reid wants him to have. [Reply]

Yes true, Andy Reid like all great/established HC’s has his long time guys.
However it was reasonable to hope for some infusion of new ideas/perspective with the coaching staff on offense considering their struggles at times to adjust to opposing defenses, highlighted by the second half collapse vs Cincinnati. [Reply]
Put EB up in the box and let Nagy be the guy who is on the sideline sending in the plays and talking with Mahomes when the O isn't on the field. [Reply]

All these Bears fans like "get ready to suck, Mahomes!!!" as though Nagy wasn't his QB coach and OC as a rookie. Or that Nagy didn't get Alex Smith to throw for 4k yards.
I mean it's just odd.
Nagy's a hell of a coach. He may not be a HC (then again, a lot of the mess in Chicago may not have been directly his fault), but there's little arguing with his track record as an offensive assistant.
It's a good get.
I mean, it's a similar argument for Bienemy. [Reply]

I have no idea how Pace survived taking Mitch over Pat. Year 2 should have ended his career and Year 3 made it even clearer. [Reply]
