He is a Vet with ST experience; would not be shocked if he sticks at the last WR spot if Gordon or Powell have mediocre camps.

dlphg or whatever was just saying post-game how much Watson sucked but that Wanya Morris was playing well enough to be the LT of the future for Mahomes.

What is going on with this some people here?
Getting called out for being a disgusting, cowardly traitor every week usually brings out the loser in some people.

The year of the three-peat. It's like a tumor that feeds on your sanity. [Reply]
Watson does all the little things that get overlooked. He’s great running rubs to free up other guys, a solid blocker, and when Pat looks his way, he has good hands. [Reply]

You're surprised that dlphag had a moronic take? Come on, you've been here long enough to know better. [Reply]

He does suck. I think that's pretty obvious when the only thing you can pick out is a block by a guy getting #1 WR snaps. The guy is Skyy Moore if Skyy would catch his only target of the game. [Reply]

Exactly. Watson is the type of player you want as a 5th WR. He does the dirty work on special teams and in run blocking and he catches the ball when he gets his targets. [Reply]

Eh, but your WR5 shouldn't be getting anywhere near 65% of the snaps.
Also, I just watched the A-22, and he dropped one that hit him right in the titties, so he ain't that reliable a pass-catcher. [Reply]

He had some dropsies last year but his catch percentage of 81.8 this season is a career high.
He is a positive asset for the Kansas City Chiefs. We celebrate all positive assets during this dynasty run, and this incredible season.
"Last year"? His career catch% is about 50%, and you know it. We all know it. And last year and the year before Andy tried targeting him more than 3 times a game a few times, and what happened? He caught right about 50% of the balls thrown in his direction. And dropped a bunch that hit him right in the hands. But just in case you've never looked at his career stats, here you go: https://www.pro-football-reference.c...W/WatsJu01.htm
In other words, he's okay if he's targeted about 2 times a game, and that's it. Which really begs the question, why is he eating up 63% of all offensive snaps? It just doesn't make much, if any, sense. [Reply]
