Anyone found any amazing deals yet? A lot of ads finally started coming out.
I'm looking for a good 65 inch 4k smart TV, maybe a nintendo switch. Always up for hunting and fishing stuff as well. Bought a bunch of video games last year during it.
I have a 75'' Samsung I got last year and had twins shortly thereafter. That thing had maybe 30 hours of use on it before the whole thing just melted down. Had to send it to a tech who had to wipe and replace the guts on the whole thing.
It was within warranty by a couple of weeks still because Samsung didn't even count my warranty from the date of purchase; they did it by date of manufacture (I even told them I had my receipt). So when it ate shit in August, the warranty was set to expire in September.
Now I'd imagine if I'd have actually been past my warranty date and raised hell, they'd have honored the purchase date, but FFS, this wasn't a cheap television and it was getting little to no use; there's no reason at all for it to have just stopped working so soon. [Reply]
55-inch Hisense 4K Roku UHD Smart TV, $248 at Walmart
This is the Hisense 55R6000E0. We don’t see this set elsewhere right now, but Walmart sells it for $378 right now. We didn't test this set.
I have had 55" Hisense smart tv for 5 years, paid $400, I love it. Wont upgrade til its a major one. [Reply]

I just think it's the luck of the draw, I've got a 75" 4K Samsung I bought at Best Buy two years ago. It was selling for $2300 and they sold me the floor model for $1500, knock on wood, it's still going good.
In 2012 I bought a Vizio 60" HD smart TV on Sam's website because I wanted it delivered, didn't have a way to pick it up. My neighbor liked mine so he got the same one, but he bought it from the store. Within a month his picture went black. He called and Sam's sent him a brand new one in the box, they said Vizio had a recall on certain serial numbers, mine was not one I guess because it came from the warehouse in Texas. It's still going great in the M/BR now. [Reply]
As far as deals. I was in Target on Tuesday and they had a Vizio 70" Ultra 4K for $598, I couldn't believe it. It wasn't even in the Black Friday flyer today, it was just a regular sale two days ago. Might still be going on.
As far as plasma TV's go, they're a problem. I bought a Panasonic 50" at Circuit City in 2007 for $1500. In 2011 when I moved a 1000 miles, I had to make sure the movers didn't lay it flat, it has to remain upright or the color gets ruined. In 2012 I got a red line down the middle of the screen. Called the service company, they said it was a circuit board and would cost $500 to fix. I gave it to my neighbor for his daughter to use at college. Then I got a 60" LED TV and my electric bills went down $25 a month. That TV was costing almost a $1 a day more to operate, and it was only a 50". [Reply]

You got her the Cayman in red she wanted last year so go for it . they are $200 off everywhere. If you have Comcast, I suggest you start there.

an 11 year old model would have stripes across the screen. [Reply]
