We had Lucas Niang at #57 in the KC Draft Guide, so this is awesome valued. Played through a hip injury last year. This is definitely a guy earmarked to take over for one of the Chiefs tackles in the future. pic.twitter.com/a1P53sN9bL
New Chiefs OT/OG @Kbniang8 has some WILD college stats. He didn’t allow a single sack in 975 career pass blocking snaps. If that’s not impressive enough, he committed just 3 penalties on 1,982 career snaps.#NFLDraft | #Chiefs | #ChiefsKingdom

Moving onto the pick, I love it actually.
From another board when asked about Muti:

I'm not always a hater. I'm also not always stupid like some. [Reply]
Lucas Niang said he's willing to play anywhere and do anything to help the Chiefs win. He could come in and help immediately at guard and eventually make the move to RT.

Tackles can also be guards, pay attention here [Reply]
I’m sure he can take Wylie’s spot. Rankin can eventually come back and take the other guard spot. Reiter as the worst starting OL feels soooo much better than Reiter as the third best starter (I think he’s better than LDT and Wylie).
Seems like a fantastic value pick and hits a need.
I wouldn’t be opposed to going DB and WR with our last two picks. [Reply]
We got significantly better in these first 3 rounds.
We returned 20/22 starters from the SB winning team, but i think by mid-season, each of these 3 guys are starters or at least playing 'starters' minutes. [Reply]
