Nzoner's Game Room>Donald Sutherland dies at 88 years old
Tribal Warfare 11:28 AM 06-20-2024

With a heavy heart, I tell you that my father, Donald Sutherland, has passed away. I personally think one of the most important actors in the history of film. Never daunted by a role, good, bad or ugly. He loved what he did and did what he loved, and one can never ask for more… pic.twitter.com/3EdJB03KKT

Donald Sutherland, the Canadian actor who became a countercultural icon with such films as “The Dirty Dozen,” “MASH,” “Klute” and “Don’t Look Now,” has died. He was 88. https://t.co/55BZHxFFMj pic.twitter.com/ZxpXsL6czF

One of the best villain performances in Lockup. Warden Drumgool clanking his ring on the bars of Leoni's cell in the dead of night is the first image that comes to mind when Donald Sutherland is mentioned.

88 isn't too shabby.

"Can I buy some pot off you?"

The thing I love about Kelly's Heroes (and my dad told me this) was they wear the insignia of the 35th Infantry, which were all guys drafted from Missouri and Kansas, many from Kansas City. They're still an active unit based in Ft. Leavenworth.

My favorite Donald Sutherland cameo was the literature teacher in Animal House (he thought showing his ass was going to be an out take) and as the Pentagon insider in JFK who meets with Jim Garrison on the QT in Washington DC.

The acting world has a new void that can never be filled.

Yup, even Jamie Lee Curtis hated the movie so much that she tried to get the director fired
