Was at the game tonight. What a performance by Embiid. Effectively won them a game by himself they had no business winning. I still don’t trust Harden but maybe this is the year he can get them to the Finals? [Reply]

What do you think of FVV? He had a rough game tonight. [Reply]

Not a good one, no. He makes a few more of those shots usually, but I think he's been out of gas (possibly playing hurt) for quite some time now and has never looked quite the same since the ASB. In any case, this particular Raptors team doesn't have a true offensive #1 option and they're asking FVV and Siakam to do more than they are really capable of.
They need to hope Scottie Barnes can be that guy in the future. He just might be. [Reply]

If he doesn't gas out. I thought the Raptors series would be more challenging.
Still, the 76ers will have to go through both Miami and Bucks/Celtics/Nets. Those are tough matchups. [Reply]

That's always the problem. He tends to get hurt somewhere along the line eventually, but until then, he's a dominating force.
And yes, this current iteration of the Raptors is no competition compared to the Heat/Bucks/Celtics (I don't think particularly highly of the Nets right now if Simmons is not going to play). We'll find out about the 76ers soon enough. [Reply]
