For all things Royals in 2022. #3 minor league system according to Baseball America. The Bobby Witt era should begin this year. Will Salvy still be the homerun king? How does the glut of infield players work out? Will the young pitchers take the next step?

Gwynn would have been considered great today because he could have hit 30+ homers any time he wanted with the way the game is pitched today.

He had a .120 ISO and had 7 or less home runs in 14 of his 20 seasons lmao. GTFOH

Back then batting avg was lauded so that's what he did. The guy was super talented. No question he could have hit way more HRs (at the expense of his batting avg) if he wanted to.

Im also convinced that if Salvy wanted to, he could hit .290 or .300 if he stopped caring about his power numbers.

With the way the Detroit Tigers are playing against us, maybe we slide into the 4th worst record in MLB. We still have 4 games against them. That also might cause John Sherman to make some major moves in the offseason.

You could use that stupid excuse if his ISO was even average, but it was 22 points below the league average for his playing career. He was a slap hitter.

Why are you arguing with him?

Giving Eaton his first start at 3B. If they put Massey at 2B they could run out 8 rookies.

Are we being no-hit in the 8th inning?

Does this post jinx the no-no? Inquiring minds want to know!
