The Broncos have satisfied the Rooney Rule with the Shaw and Jim Caldwell interviews.

Former Stanford HC David Shaw interviewed today with the Denver Broncos about their head coaching job, sources tell ESPN. Shaw spent nine years in the NFL, from 1997-2005, with the Eagles, Raiders and Ravens, and is interested in returning to the pro game.

David Shaw worked under Jim Harbaugh from 2006-2010, even following him from San Diego to Stanford.

Shaw was Harbaugh's OC at Stanford all four years Harbaugh was there.

Man, Denver is making a strong push to dethrone the San Diego LA Chargers as reigning preseason champions.

This is interesting: David Shaw was Jim Harbaugh's passing game coordinator/WR coach at San Diego in 2006, then followed him to Stanford where Shaw was Harbaugh's offensive coordinator all 4 years. Could Harbaugh/Shaw be a package deal for Broncos? #9sports https://t.co/UKk99neH9u

If the Broncos weren't racists, they'd select minority coaching candidates and give them actual consideration.

Buuuuuut since they clearly view this as some bullshit box they have to tick, I guess, you know.... if the hood fits....

Andy Reid should’ve resigned and handed the keys over to Bienemy years ago.

And now that Mahomes has shown that trading Hill for several WR2's and cap space doesn't cause the offense to miss a beat, he can just ignore an elite CB if he wants to.

I mean, just which WR2 do you want to shut down?

:-) you wish

Andy is at the top of his game with a generational qb and a top 5 gm killing it on the personnel side. He's not going anywhere

You're the dipshits with the opening at head coach, not us. The NFL says you need to interview two minority candidates, ideally with the intent to give either one a legit and fair shot at being the best man for the job.

The Broncos aren't doing that because they're not interested in even considering hiring a minority for their head coach.

Shaw doesn't seem like he's too interested in being a HC at the moment:

Lmao, so there interviewing David Shaw for offensive coordinator, because they don't want Sean Payton or Jim Harbaugh to pick their own coordinator?

Sure that makes a ton of sense KnowMo.
