Everybody acts like Remmers is complete garbage, but he didn't give up a sack at RT last year and was one of the highest-rated in pass block win rate. I don't think it means that Niang is a bust if he doesn't start this year. [Reply]

Hill and Hardman out wide on opposite sides, Gray in the slot, Kelce on the line next to Brown with Clyde in the backfield
That’s a cheat code. Kelce can easily be a receiver but they could also run the ball if we wanted and Clyde would have Kelce, Brown and Thuney blocking in front of him.
Yes, that's filthy. That's the formation you run in Madden and your QB throws for 600 yards. [Reply]

Everybody's basing their opinions on the Super Bowl. Everybody is wrong for doing that. [Reply]

I've seen nothing to say he is or isn't. Offseason youtube videos don't mean jack shit. You will never convince me that being around professionals and film study whether he could play last year or not wouldn't have been beneficial.
The one constant around here is if he busts he will be the butt of CP'er jokes forever. The former supporters will deny they ever believed. I hope he makes it and does well, it's to the team's benefit. Offensive tackle is a tough position even the highest draft choices bust out. I wish him luck! [Reply]

You know what’s “beneficial”?
Having him under contract for the next 4 years as opposed to wasting one of those on a year when he was recovering from hip surgery. [Reply]

Yea, that’s the fucking point. I’m not the one talking in absolutes here. KChiefs1 is the one saying that he “has bust written all over him” based on absolutely nothing. That’s fucking stupid. Does he have a crystal ball?
What we do know is that the guy is extremely talented and would’ve likely been a 1st round pick if it weren’t for the hip injury.
Anybody claiming that he “has bust written all over him” because he opted out last year and isn’t the starter yet is fucking dumb. [Reply]

That's certainly a good point if you're a bean counter. There is also win now play the best players and when his contract comes up and he is performing find a way to pay him. [Reply]

For the record, Remmers also got a ton of help.
That's not to take away from his performance, though. And if giving him help worked that well, why not keep doing it.
But ideally, you'd like your RT to be on an island. [Reply]
