Lillard goes Milwaukee as part of a 3-team deal with Jrue Holiday, Deandre Ayton, Toumani Camara, a 2029 unprotected MIL 1st, and unprotected MIL swap rights in 2028 and 2030 to Blazers. Phoenix lands Jusuf Nurkic, Grayson Allen, Nassir Little and Keon Johnson. https://t.co/Ge0H91AiIA
Am I taking crazy pills or something? That seems like an absolute fleecing by Minnesota and Phoenix got absolutely shafted for seemingly no reason. They couldn't have been THAT desperate to get Ayton out, right? [Reply]

Apparently they felt they couldn’t work with Ayton at all. It’s still shit value for us. And fuck Grayson Allen. I hope he gets hurt before he ever plays a second for us. [Reply]

It'd be nice if James could hit a jump shot this time around, especially given how deep and talented the roster around him is.
No excuses, LeBron - this team can win a championship. It damn sure shouldn't be getting swept in the WCF.
Another shot at Denver? LeBron averaged a 28 point triple double on 52% shooting against them and they got destroyed. He will also be nearly 40 by the time such a series comes around. You might want to get more out of AD in such a scenario than you did last year if you want to stand any chance at all. A lot more. [Reply]

Well at least you quit on the season BEFORE it started this time.
Hopefully Lebron doesn't follow suit like he was going to do last February. [Reply]

Your criticisms don't even make sense. LeBron was easily the best player for the Lakers in that Denver series and put up ridiculously unprecedented numbers for a guy his age and they still got absolutely destroyed. What exactly would make you think they have a chance a year later against Denver when LeBron has gotten even older and AD has gotten even softer and more fragile?
If the Lakers wanted to contend, they needed to add another impact player. They didn't. [Reply]

They could've added Jokic and you'd have said it wasn't enough.
You come armed with excuses before the events unfold. Its commendable, really. [Reply]
