Probably the best tournament to show how much luck is involved. If the committee values quad 1 wins more and places KU overall #1 in Bamas spot, KU already has half of their legitimate contenders eliminated to make a title game. Instead KU gets the region where every favorite wins by 20+ and will almost certainly play a road game to make the final four. It's great entertainment but it's quite a bit of luck on the draw.
