So all these AFC teams better hope they make it happen this year, before their QBs start catching up to Mahomes in pay structure (and passing him).
Allen already signed his deal last offseason. Slightly less average salary than Mahomes, but more guaranteed money on fewer years for Allen. He will be back on the market 4 years earlier than Mahomes.
Russell Wilson is going to be demanding huge money ($50M per year fully guaranteed) from Denver. They would be wise to get that done pretty quick while they still have 2 cheaper years from his old contract to help lower the average salary over the next 6 years. [Reply]

Ju JU's career YPC avg is 11.9 with 323 career catches and 26 TD's. That's after only playing 5 games last year due to injury.
Pringle has 67 career catches and 7 TDs and is 2 years older.
That's irrelevant. You should be celebrating with me, Brother BossChief. Do not give into the sinful temptations being offered to you by the hatemongering crew of Chiefsplanet. [Reply]

Right, but the real big pay raise doesn’t kick in until this year/next year. Just like Mahomes. [Reply]

This is my exact thought.
Both healthy Watkins is better by a marginal level but Watkins just isn't healthy most of the time. We got lucky with him being healthy in the playoffs in 2019.
If JuJu stays healthy for a full season its not close. [Reply]
Fun fact… JuJu is one year younger than Courtland Sutton… a.k.a. the massively overhyped WR who headlines the supposedly “loaded” Denver offense that Russell Wilson is walking into.
JuJu’s career year in 2018:
111 receptions, 1,426 yards receiving, 7 TD’s
Sutton’s career year… which took place in 2019 (take note for the haters who are bitching about JuJu’s career season taking place 4 years ago):
72 receptions, 1,112 yards receiving, 6 TD’s [Reply]
