Our defense was arguably a 2/10 in the first meeting. I'd say we are a solid 7 now maybe an 8 if Berry plays and is average.

No, my hope is that we play against KC the way we did in the 1st half of week 6. A mix of Cover 1 and Cover 3, some Cover 0 occasionally with disguised fronts, with a few new wrinkles. Cover 2 is a huge mistake vs Mahomes. We saw that not only in the 2nd half of the week 6 game, but in various other games this season, including last week vs Indy.

We're also more than capable of winning a shootout if it comes to that.

We all know both teams are capable of winning.

I'm not sure the crowd is capable of surviving the weather to be honest.

No, it isn't. But if it is, NE's offense has "done virtually nothing" on the road against the Steelers, Phins, Titans, Bills, Lions, and Jaguars. Thats 6 of 8 road games, and 3 of your last 4 road games.

Your defense was leaving quite a bit open for us on the field in that first half. Mahomes had a handful of bad throws that pretty much let you off the hook.

NE is the road team this time, against an elite pass rushing team, with elite pass rushers at every position along the defensive front. KC got to Brady twice at Gillette, and they average a sack 9.34% at home (2nd in the NFL). And as previously mentioned, Brady has been bad against pressure this year.

Meanwhile, KC only gives up a sack on only 2.42% of passes at home, and Mahomes is among the leagues best under pressure to begin with.
Your pass rush is good, but it's not 2015 Broncos level. Not even close. It's not even 2017 Eagles level. You're #1 in sacks, but you're actually below us in pressures per snap.

Also, a good, or even elite, pass rush is not enough to stop Brady. It hasn't been for a long time. You need elite cover guys at all levels - LB, CB, and S. The Eagles had an elite pass rush last season, and Brady set records against them.

the problem is the Chiefs are going to play the Patriots like the third quarter of week 6.

He had several bad throws because he was under pressure and because he had issues diagnosing the various looks we were giving him.

As long as it's not against Cover 2, I'm good with that.

ITT: whamblock pretends to be educated about football but really just dismisses everything positive about the Chiefs and anything negative about the Patriots.

Is your only hope here that the Patriots will play like they did in Tennessee? Is that what your SB berth hinges on?
And you scored a grand total of TEN POINTS... conveniently left that out...

Steelers: 26.8ppg

KC's worst offensive outing? 24 points in regulation, and 26 in a game.

Not the same beasts.

Brady played with a sprained MCL in 4 of those games.

Can you please provide your source for the above claim? We blitz less than nearly every team yet get more pressure than anyone.
