That's always been a key for the Chiefs offense and they were at their worse when they were taking a 2nd and 10 and making it 3rd and 9... their offense is deadly if they're consistently getting 3rd and <5.
They've stopped running so damn much on 2nd and long, or throwing at the LOS for a gain of 1 at the most...going back to finding Kelce and guys over the middle.
But yeah, it's a big thing I look at early... are both teams having to work hard for first downs by converting 3rd and longs, or are they humming along with 3rd and 3 conversions. [Reply]
