Broncos Joke Time

A guy walks into a bar with his dog to watch the Broncos play. The bartender tells him he can't bring the dog in the bar. The guy promises the dog will behave and is a huge Bronco fan. After a lot of back and forth, the bartender allows it. As the game went on, the dog just sat there watching intently. The bartender was amazed and apologized to the guy for doubting. Just then, the Broncos scored a field goal. The dog, out of excitement, jumped in the air and did a back flip. Even more amazed, the bartender asks, "If that's what he does for a field goal, what does he do when they score a touchdown? The owner replied, "I have no idea, I've only owned him since they've traded for Russell Wilson."

I’d say Plummer, but I’m not old enough to remember any Denver QBs before Elway.

ding ding ding, we have a winner. Statistically, it's jake "the Snake" Plummer. His career stat line as a Bronco of 39W-15L, while throwing for 11,631 yards, 71 touchdowns, and 47 picks, makes him the 3rd best Broncos QB in history.

That's not bad. Mr Limited has a LONG way to go then.

Imagine.....trading multiple firsts and players for a guy that isn't even close to Plummer

Bronco players making business decisions. Of course, against the Chiefs they'll play like it's the SB, at least on defense. On offense nothing they do is going to generate more than a handful of points, unless they bench Wilson.

Surprised Knowmo isn't here to share his prediction for this one. According to his analysis, the Broncos are better at 16 positions and some of their backups are better than KC starters. With HFA, this could get ugly for the poor Kansas City Chiefs...

Craig Morton took them to the super bowl and had several successful seasons in Denver. They were good in the late 70s.

I remember the Orange Crush years. It was more about the defense, than offense. But yes, Morton is in the argument for their 3rd best QB ever.

Elway Mahomes-Mahomes
Manning Lenny-Len... Manning disqualified due to hgh
Morton Montana-Joe
Plummer Green-Trent

That's excellent. Pretty clear the Chiefs have had the better QB history, which might account for their 69-55 all time record against them.

Would be almost even if you took out the current 13 game winning streak. The Mahomes effect!

That group was able to string together 8 straight against the Chiefs. It's so amazing the chiefs are about to do 14 today.
