It's hard to believe he'll be on the team for another two years. Maybe he'll surprise us and I'll hit the jackpot at the casino. That would be nice. [Reply]

I think it’s more he FUCKING SUCKS than what he’s paid. Fuck him [Reply]

Clark's story will be one of underachievement, but he had a big impact during the Super Bowl run. 3 sacks in the Texans game, got the sack to seal the win against the Titans, got a crucial sack in the fourth quarter of the Super Bowl. Do we win the Bowl without him? Maybe, but he definitely showed up that postseason. [Reply]

Judging by this thread, it sure seems like he's up there. This thread is like a giant game day thread though so... [Reply]

Because I give the GM (not to mention HOF head coach) who has guided this team well the leeway to make decisions like this. All of your whining was in the context of the Hill trade and my point was that I'll reserve judgment until I've seen the entire Veach plan play out. And that was never something that we'd be able to figure out prior to the draft when you were at your most obnoxious crying about a falling sky. [Reply]

What does the Hill trade have to do with Frank Clark? Why the hell do you always bring it up? What a weird response.
And you can judge individual moves without seeing the entire plan play out ya know. [Reply]

I think so, yes.
Hell, we were so close the year prior. If it weren't for Dee Ford lining up offsides, I think we have a good shot of taking the trophy against the Rams. [Reply]

Apparently you don't remember the conversation. You kept complaining about the Hill trade and how are offense would be worse. And my response - over and over again - was that we needed to look at the Hill trade holistically in the context of the entire team and the flexibility it gave us with the draft and cap in future seasons. And then you pivoted to complaining about Clark and how the cap space we got from Hill wasn't meaningful because Clark was still on the team, etc. [Reply]

I had a problem with Clark coming back when he was re-signed.....which was more than a week before Tyreek was traded.
