Damn, what a comeback. That was like a mini movie in itself.
Spoiler!
This was the story of Blood and Cheese. There are going to be mixed reactions to it. Book readers will feel that it fell short and was too reserved. Non-book readers will be absolutely appalled that they showed what they did on TV. The book version was so much more diabolical with sooo much more bloodshed.
Just glad GoT is back, the writing, the music, atmosphere, cinematography is just such a nice way to spend a Sunday evening at 8pm before going back to work on Monday. Hell give me Cregan Stark's rebellion with his uncle, I was ready for the first 10 minutes of the episode to last the entire episode, sad the Wall only got a limited amount of screen time, thought Blood and Cheese was going to be the second episode tbh with them doing aftermath of Season 1 the whole first episode. This guy put together a pretty good and quick little video comparing the book version of Blood and Cheese to the show. Spoiler warning as it does include info on what happens to many of the involved characters after the events of last night.

You’re right. We saw him gagged. We only heard his muffled screams and the squelching of the blade cutting off his head, all while his horrified mother watched. [Reply]
