I figure there are some motorcycle guys/gals on CP, so I thought we could have a place to talk all things Motorcycles.
Tire Mount and Balance Prices (as of 10/29/16)
Prices based on if you remove the wheels yourself and bring the wheels and new tires with you:
Cycle Gear - $35 per wheel if you buy tires from them. $58 per wheel if you buy tires elsewhere
Rawhide - $65 per wheel (assuming it would be the same at other HD dealers. they book it at 1/2 hr per wheel)
C R Cycle Tires (DeSoto) - $30 per wheel
Cheapest I've found my Michelin Commander II's. Seem like they have good prices on other brands too. http://www.jakewilson.com - Free 3 day shipping on orders over $75 [Reply]
Looking online, I love the look of the Triumph thunderbird, and the RocketIII as well, although for that one I'm not crazy about the 3 exhaust pipes coming out of the engine up high, would have to get more looks at that. How are they priced compared to HD? [Reply]

Well it depends on the type of Motorcycling you do.
I was in the Adventure Motorcycling market. So I tested the BMW's, KTMS, Suzukis, Kawasaki's (KLR) etc..
When I tested the Triumph Tiger 800 XC I was sold. Love the Tripple motor and the way it handled. But of course I like British bikes. I am currently on the hunt for an older Bonnie that I can restore. [Reply]

Heh, back in the ‘90’s I had a friend that would park his 600R Ninja in his living room right in front of the TV and we’d play Road Rash from the seat of it. [Reply]
I used to use Honda Polish for a multitude of tasks.
worked well for small stuff, in a pinch etc. Hell, I used to polish my wife's glasses when they'd get small scratches in them [Reply]
