Frank Clark on his future with KC: “Kansas City is home. Kansas City is home. I bought a house here. My daughter goes to school here. It’s home. I wanna be here for the future, for the rest of my career. … Things don’t always happen how you want."

Interesting that Rotoworld posts about Clark and references this tweet….but doesn’t think he’s restructuring.
ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports the Chiefs are expected to trade or release DE Frank Clark.
Clark's $26.3 million cap hit in 2022 has his status with the Chiefs in doubt. Kansas City could restructure Clark's deal or ask for a pay cut, but it's likely they move on from the 28-year-old, who has declining sack totals despite making the Pro Bowl the last three seasons. Releasing Clark outright isn't an option since it would leave $13.6 million in dead money. The Chiefs can save $19.5 million with $6.8 million in dead money if they designate Clark a post-June cut. I still say they're waiting to see what drops in FA and the draft before they completely cut ties with him. He could be the fourth backup plan if nothing goes their way and aren't able to upgrade the position. [Reply]
