We had Lucas Niang at #57 in the KC Draft Guide, so this is awesome valued. Played through a hip injury last year. This is definitely a guy earmarked to take over for one of the Chiefs tackles in the future. pic.twitter.com/a1P53sN9bL
New Chiefs OT/OG @Kbniang8 has some WILD college stats. He didn’t allow a single sack in 975 career pass blocking snaps. If that’s not impressive enough, he committed just 3 penalties on 1,982 career snaps.#NFLDraft | #Chiefs | #ChiefsKingdom

It's a clear and obvious leg transplant. He was listed as a few inches shorter than Brown and is clearly as big or bigger now. He bought bionic legs. [Reply]
The entire right side of our line is set for the next 4 years with guys on rookie deals. Humphrey, Smith, and Niang could not have looked any better tonight in my opinion. I keyed in on Niang and he looked Pro Bowl worthy. Really surprised me how well he played. Not gonna lie, him sitting out last year turned me off, but after watching him tonight it looks like he's gonna be a stud. [Reply]

Why? Given his injury, that was perfect for getting him on track. [Reply]

It sure looks that way. But, I wouldn't be surprised to see Brown leave after this season and Niang slide over to LT. Brown is going to want a big contract. And, there will likely be good right tackles available late in the first round of the draft next year. [Reply]
