Former All-Pro WR Josh Gordon, who is being reinstated, is planning to sign with the Kansas City Chiefs, sources tell ESPN. His agents, Eric Dounn and Matt Leist from @LAASportsEnt, confirmed Gordon is headed to Kansas City. pic.twitter.com/nqpJXn3oni

And even with Gordon combined with those two I wouldn't at stake anything of substance by wagering he does anything better than 500yd/42rec/7TDs. [Reply]

So you expect him to have an above avg season for a #3 WR? [Reply]

Really all we needed was for Kemp or Pringle to contribute any tiny bit. We don't need an all pro season. Most importantly many of those 500 yards will be passes we wouldn't want to throw if Gordon wasn't there. That goes a long way if it allows you to target kelce and hill just a little less.
Either Gordon will do just enough to free up kelce and hill, or he can get us quality targets when defenses swallow him up. That is just enough improvement for an offense that's already outstanding but just needs a little extra nudge. [Reply]

Thus the recent vitriol directed at CEH. A legit running threat to make shell/doubling defenses pay is what we need, but do not have. So we depend on passing game instead, and have learned our depth is mediocre and/or worse: error-prone. [Reply]

Dude, those stats would be GREAT for the role he'll play. [Reply]

Agreed and I hope we don't confuse really good running with great stats. Any rb should get good stats when the defense is daring you to run. [Reply]
