We all have varying opinions about the impact of this, the numbers, etc. We will all never agree with each other. But we can all keep it civil.

Thanks!

They're rolling it out to places that are dedicated to giving vaccinations (Ie DR's offices and Pharmacies). It could go faster elsewhere but it is what it is.

I've been saying this for quite a while. Took a lot of shit for it too but it is what it is. A lot of people just aren't in a rush to go out and get stuck.

I think if you start knocking down the deaths by sticking the old folks you will see a lot more relaxation of restrictions and stuff.

The question now is how long until we start seeing the impact of people getting vaccinated?

Chicago is setting up a vaccination supersite at a local college campus. Its initial focus will be non-hospital affiliated healthcare workers.

There has also been distribution in hotspot communities around the city.

There ya go. We need to increase the # of vaccines going into arms. Need to start setting up temp sites just like we did for testing. The faster we do this, the faster we get back to normal.

You do realize you have to monitor each person for 15 min after you inject them, right?

I think a lot of companies are going to start realizing they can save money by having people work at home.

In my wife's case, we voluntarily sat in the parking lot for 15 minutes. It's not like they have a dedicated nurse watching you.

This is a suggestion, but never a requirement, and has always been such for vaccinations.

They cannot force you to stay. It's not a psych hold, and you don't have to sign papers saying that you are leaving AMA.

It's always been best practice to help prevent rare sequelae or syncopal events, but it can't be mandated.
