Carr doesn't handle pressure for shit. Especially if you're hitting him early.
He processes pretty quickly so if Spags tries to send a lot of those zero blitzes at him, he'd better have Gay on Waller and Mathieu on Renfroe to keep him from just dumping underneath.
But if he can get some early pressure or if the front 4 can do it on their own, Carr could easily crater. He's just not a guy that stands up to abuse worth a damn and that Raiders OL still just isn't very good. [Reply]

Nor can they stop the run.
This plays into our hands incredibly well.
Jacobs looked a little healthier last week; has some of that power/explosion back.
He's just been so dinged up all season and there's ample reason to suspect he'll tweak something else on Sunday. But when he's healthy and running hard, he could do some damage. [Reply]

The biggest issue with this team is that the blitzes give the guys on the outside 1v1 matchups and they haven't been winning consistently or worse, Sorenson ends up deep and gets beat.
The good news is no Ruggs. So Carr can't just chuck the top off the defense in the face of a blitz like he did a couple of times last year. If they can cover the short zones, like you said, they should be okay. [Reply]

Jackson's enough to smoke Sorensen if they end up matched up.
And for some reason, they'll probably end up matched up 3-5 times on Sunday.

Not sure Boston wants to sign here at this point.
I mean Indy's safety group is a tire fire and if he signs there, he'll almost certainly start. Here he's probably a 3rd safety at best.
If he's wanting a chance to show out for a FA run, KC may not be the place to do it.
And man, there has to be SOMETHING to the fact that the guy seems to constantly be struggling to find a job, right? I feel like this happens every other year. [Reply]

either that or pick a CB with safety traits and make him out Ron Parker.

It really is weird how he seems to play well, but nobody wants him back. [Reply]
Don't look now but we've had the 3rd best scoring defense (avg. 16.0 ppg allowed) over the last four games (behind only Arizona and Green Bay). [Reply]

Titans could of scored 40+ on us if they wanted to. Giants wout Saquon, Redskins w backup QB, and Packers w a backup QB. Nothing to get excited about
They are playing better but still a lot of work to do. [Reply]
