The years when the Royals were in committee receivership -the Allard Baird years before David Glass- the Royals told the fans "hey, just be happy you get to watch MLB in KC. You get to see the stars for all the other teams play here!" Yeah, well... I'm afraid we're going right back to that situation. The Royals are a AAAA team, and players like Bobby Witt Jr. will be gone first chance he gets, like Damon or Beltran. I've seen this movie. [Reply]
