According to the far out forecast, the high next Sunday is 19° and the low is around 13°.
Personally, I think this would be great. We know that Mahomes can sling it in those conditions, he proved it last year at Denver and today to some degree. Idk about Brady and Rivers though, as they are older and their arms aren’t quite what they used to be. Not saying they couldn’t throw it, but I think it could have a negative effect on them.
Thoughts?
Also, this from Pete Sweeney:

Not to mention they just had a physical game with Ravens while Patriots had a bye week. Rather play a team that has had no rest, especially a warm weather team in the freezing cold. Chargers dodged the Sammy Watkins bullet last time at Arrowhead. They won't be so lucky this time.
Plus it's a short week for the Chargers/Patriots heading into Arrowhead. Extra day of rest for Chiefs. [Reply]

This is such a great feeling as a fan. I don't really care who wins today's game. The only team that can beat the Chiefs next week in arrowhead is the Chiefs. New England is better built for cold weather by experience but both teams qbs at their age are not ideal for the cold. It's a great advantage for us and I don't know how anyone can enjoy the stale dome experience over real football. [Reply]
I will say that in 95 and 97 it was that level of cold and it started to impact a lot of the crowd. During the 95 game people were being carried out of our section.
Of course we weren’t going for the Super Bowl and that’s pre-Mahomes and I’m sure our hearts will be much warmer than with Bono or Grbac as QB. [Reply]
