Thornhill just has to get more snaps this week. He may not start because Reid doesn't like to show up players. But there's just no way they can keep ignoring what's happening to Sorenson. Reid even called him out a little in his presser.
After watching that video above - you can't tell me we'd be worse off with a bunch of young, hungry players with some speed who at least fly to the ball. Put DOD in there, Watts - say now's your chance, play like it's the Superbowl.
If we somehow miraculously got everyone healthy and stayed healthy, and Thornhill returns to something like 2019 form, this defense could be a lot closer to middle of the road. Our secondary would be a strength with Mathieu, (good) Thornhill, Sneed, Ward, and Fenton. LBs with Gay playing a big role maybe not abysmal. Line still bad, but with Clark and Jones at 100%, hopefully not historically bad. And maybe Turk Wharton steps up. [Reply]

Wanna bet that Sorenson plays above 90% of the snaps this week? Because I have a feeling he will. [Reply]

If we were 4-1 I could see that. Reid didn't bench Scandrick until the end of 2018.
But we're clearly sucking and the record shows it, so there's a lot more impetus to make changes now. They've already started reducing Reed's snaps. So they're not afraid to make some changes. [Reply]
My thing with Sorenson is; we've seen other players benched for less. Thus, i think we DO see a drop in snaps for him. He has to be held accountable as other players on this team are, such as Juan Thornhill.
We've seen RB's benched for poor play. We've seen DL and OL benched for poor play. We've seen guys like Thornhill left on the bench for "poor play".
Sorenson shouldn't be any sort of exception. I expect the Chiefs will correct this. [Reply]

Alright I'm right nut for the purpose of this conversation; trust me there are much higher hills to fight for, Todd Haley isn't worth your time [Reply]
All of my anger that has accumulated thus far this season is going to be directed at Frank Clark from now on.
We could literally be paying 3 solid defensive starters with his ridiculous cap number, and instead I get to watch him get manhandled non-stop with his overpaid shit bag Seahawk buddy Reed stealing money right along next to him.
$33 million dollars in cap space for a grand total of 7 total tackles and 3 assisted tackles, along with 1 tackle for loss where the guy literally ran right into an unblocked Frank Clark.
The level of ridiculousness in those numbers is just beyond words. [Reply]

Haley was entitled asshole who got a NFL job because his Dad Dick Haley help build the 1970's Steeler dynasty. Pioli on the other hand was the true sociopath, it was even leaked how he conducted himself ruling with an iron fist [Reply]
