I don't recall exactly, I need to get reacquainted with this stuff.
I think the reasons that people doubt Ramsey wrote it are that he would have been unlikely to use the word "Bastard", he didn't include a piece of skin in the letter, use a Bolton seal, or write it in blood, all of which he typically does. Also, some of the information in the letter would be a bit odd coming from Ramsey (the whole part about burning pretend Mance - why would Ramsey care?).
I think the other candidates are Mance or Stannis. [Reply]
Well when Theon helped fake Arya escape, he did it with the help of Abel/Mance's washerwomen, at least one of which was killed during the escape. Mance did not escape with them, so there is zero chance that he hasn't been tortured by Ramsey for information. I don't see how Mance could have written the Pink Letter, was Ramsey just going to gently ask him why his washerwomen just caused him to lose his wife and his Reek? I think that we can also safely assume that any information Mance knew, Ramsey now knows, because Ramsey is quite good at the whole torture thing. I stil think Ramsey wrote the letter, but it is weird that he didn't send one of Mance's appendages with it. [Reply]
Again, warning, there are spoilers here. Keep in mind, it's pretty rare that this much would be leaked before the majority of filming is done, so I wouldn't read into all of it. That said, there are leaked pics on WOTW that confirm some of this.
Spoiler!
I'll post the link to the reddit spoilers after this but here's a summary.
Bran and Meera cross the wall. Meera just peaces out and goes home.
Cersei gets preggers via Jamie.
Euron kills 2 sneks and captures Asha/Yara. Theon jumps overboard and swims away. No news on how this fucks up Dany's fleet.
Gendry gets rescued by Davos and Tyrion. Gendry has also forged himself a warhammer with a Baratheon sigil and fucks up two guys with it.
Jon and Dany meet up. Jon bends the knee at Dragonstone, then they go back to Eastwatch with Thoros, Sandor, Tormund, and Beric. Rumor is Thoros dies fighting the Others and Dany saves them via Drogon.
Viserion is killed and becomes an ice dragon.
Euron doesn't get a dragon and has no VS armor.
Dany and Jon fuck in a ship.
Sam heals Jorah's greyscale.
Dany torches Horn Hill.
Jon, Dany, and co. bring a wight back to KL and show Cersei and Jamie what the hell is going on. Cersei agrees to help but betrays them.
Arya makes her way back to Winterfell. She and Sansa kill Baelish.
I'm tempted but not clicking it man.
Different note: i recently did a re-read and picked up on Stannis saying there was ample dragon glass in the mines below Dragon Stone that he ordered them to start mining when he heard it could kill the Whites.
I didn't catch that on the tv shows. Did i miss that? [Reply]
