I remember there was quite the DeShaun Watson faction here as well. People loved Mahomes' arm and stats in college, but Watson was a national champ and played against defenses better than what the Big XII had to offer. That's why we're all making our selections on this website and not in an NFL war room, apparently. :-)

I can’t see Niang, who was a 4 year starter at right tackle, being penciled in as the LT.
If things go “right” and they get their left tackle in the first round, I think the battle for right tackle comes down to Remmers and Niang, with Niang winning the spot outright, leaving Remmers as the Swing Tackle again.
I could also see Remmers start the first quarter while bringing Niang up to speed. [Reply]

He played at 280 lbs. The knock on him was that he needed to put on weight. He showed up at the Senior Bowl at 300 lbs. and looked great in 1:1 drills. [Reply]
