For all things Royals in 2022. #3 minor league system according to Baseball America. The Bobby Witt era should begin this year. Will Salvy still be the homerun king? How does the glut of infield players work out? Will the young pitchers take the next step?

All 3 HR’s by rookies.

Now let’s get Massey in there!

Young lineup at least makes watching some nights interesting.

Dozier is hardly one of the drags on the team this year. He was our 3rd best OPS in tonight's lineup. That said, you absolutely try to move him in the off-season if possible. But until then, I'm good with him, MAT, Isbel, Eaton and Lopez rotating the days off.

Dozier should NEVER play 1B period.

If you have to play him have him rotate at 3B with Lopez.

Pretty neat that all the kids tweeted Nick Pratto!!!! after the game. They all seem nice.

Feels like a team again.

Nick Pratto caps off an explosive night with a walk-off; Royals win 5-4

On a night where Eric Hosmer was in the house but not on the field, Nick Pratto pulls off a clutch impersonation.

CJ Alexander just hit his 4th home run in as many games for Northwest Arkansas. He’s the 3B the Royals got from Atlanta for the 35th overall pick. :@nwanaturals

This Brent Rooker guy we picked up may be old for AAA but he's been opsing over .900 for three years in milb. And this year he's now at 1.030 OPS after homering twice yesterday. Might as well try him out in the OF instead of Eaton and see how he does. Certainly would think his bat has more potential than Eaton. Kind of expect a good potential of a Ryan O'Hearn if the Pads and Twins weren't real sold on him but never know.

His minor league stats are too good. He's not going to be a star, and his defense is bad, but I'm pretty sure he could put up Dozier-like stats at a far lower price. He'd be a perfect complement to Vinnie at DH but given our riches at catcher, that's kind of out of the question.

If he can just be a better O’Hearn/Dozier, I’ll take it. Corner OF/DH with some pop that plays a a couple of times a week. Not the highest bar but I think he’s capable.

Or become a top notch pinch hitter. Those are pretty valuable at times.
