I'm old enough to remember when everyone else was clueless about Tyreek Hill. [Reply]
When you start out a "news" article with "The NFL did not ask the Chiefs to throw the game", it's kind of hard to take anything after that, seriously. The whole story seems forced and contrived. Any truth that may exist in this story is drowned out by a lot of seemingly false claims that can easily be refuted. [Reply]

Do you realize that thousands of fans, some even on this very board, have bought that narrative hook line and sinker?
In an article detailing insider information, do you not think it is valid to shove that particular nonsense out of the way first?
I would say it was extremely valid to do so, if only so the reader could focus on the issues at hand. [Reply]
Andy Reid said he is the one that gave Pat the play that didn't work before half saying he should have given him a better play. And Reid also said yeah he should have done a better job making adjustments in second half. After the game presser Andy Reid blamed himself.
I want to say this though that it wasn't like we blew a 21-3 at halftime score it was 21-10 Bengals scored a touchdown in second quarter so we only had a 11 point lead after halftime. If DRob doesn't drop two passes and failed 3rd down conversion and Kelce said on the Rich Eisen Show that he wasn't always in the right spot where Patrick was expecting him so off targets look bad for the quarterback but Travis also had a drop too.
Those are the things that let Bengals get back in the game and Patrick I believe in my opinion tried too do too much and he's done it so many times and worked held on to the ball was undecided who to fire the ball too and ran around to make a big play but got sacked because the Bengals had a spy on him. I've pointed out the spy in the game thread.
Andy Reid took blame Patrick Mahomes took blame and Travis Kelce took blame. We've came back from behind in so many games in the past few years with EB as OC. I don't know how true or not the riff between EB and Patrick but if it was on going and affecting Patrick during the season then EB would have been canned or demoted and wouldn't be racist because Patrick is half black.
This story sounds like to me excuses for losing and pointing the finger at someone to blame but Andy Reid and Patrick took blame and Kelce on the Rich Eisen Show talked about how the Bengals defense defense was really good with their schemes.
We've made so many come from behind wins and throughout last couple years playoffs even and Super Bowl LIV. People just don't understand that this is football game both teams are paid to win and as much as it sucks it happened to us. Is it better to get blown out ? Is it better to never have a lead and lose because the field goal misses a kick so there you have someone to blame the kicker?
Chiefs execs front office Broot Vleach will figure it out. Whatever truth or not in the article is irrelevant to how the players played because they are professionals been around EB for several years won a Super Bowl with EB there was no sabotage. People need accept the loss and move on. We got a lot to be excited about for years to come and Patrick will be better than ever going through the struggles he had growing pains he hadn't had to deal with before. He is now entering his prime years and moving on to next season.
I'm not telling fans what to do wallow in our sorrows for losing AFCCG if you want point fingers if you want the crowed wasn't loud enough to cause false starts refs didn't throw a flag or did and shouldn't have. Maybe what was said in locker room has merit maybe not but we flat out got beat for not executing plays when we needed too. They out played us out coached us it happens. How many coaches have accomplished and lasted as long as Andy Reid? Sean Payton just retired or taking a break Rams coach as young as he is, is talking retirement. The stress of a HC in the NFL is demanding.
People say he blows the big game. No mother fuckers we won LIV. As in words of Len Dawson winning a Super Bowl "Bragging rights for life". This team is still Super Bowl champions and perineal contenders with Patrick in contention to win more Super Bowls. Honestly with Patrick at quarterback a circus monkey could do EB job. Andy calls the plays he said he called the play before half time and said he needed make better play calling.
I hope this isn't TLDNR. I'm just a fan making an opinion. [Reply]
