2023 – A new beginning for the Royals. Matt Quatraro era begins. A year to see which of our young players will make up the core going forward. Can Bobby Witt Jr become a superstar SS or will go to the hot corner? Will Brady Singer take the next step forward? Will Salvy be Salvy? Will Big Vin or Pratto take first base? Will they find a position for MJ? Who else emerges from the youth movement? Not to mention the development of the new downtown stadium.

And that's still 100million a year on the low side of Franks number There's zero chance of that cost being real. I don't know how he would even pull that number out of his ass

He crushed that ball. Tito Landrum took took 3 steps and just looked up as the ball went deep into the tunnel.
And 38 years ago today, we celebrated the Royals first WS title.

$6 bil would be the cost of the number 2, 3, and 4 highest priced stadiums in the world combined. Those stadiums are also in places where things cost wayyyyy more. That number is completely full of shit.
The team is saying the estimated cost is $1 billion for the stadium and $1 billion for the entertainment district. They also say they will cover any overages, so I think it's just a hit piece against the stadium. [Reply]
