Reminds me of those Chiefs games where we said Andy was holding something back.
Yeah normally he is chewing ass. But hes just smiling and calm. Which I dont get. If the game means less or nothing...just rest Juan, McCullar, Wilson and Dick [Reply]

I really hope we get to play these pricks on the tourney.
Won’t be easy for either team to get there (KU has BU in its way and UT has KSU), but it’s safe to say KU would be up for that one after tonight. [Reply]
With Tech's loss to OSU at home, we play the winner of WVU/Tech next Thursday. Not a good draw at all for us. WVU has the 4th best KP mark in the conference and Tech gives us a ton of issues in recent years. [Reply]

Can anyone tell me what's the benefit of Self playing his regulars regular minutes in the Big 12 tournament? They could lose day 1 and will still be a #1 seed. Why play kids 3 straights days & risk wearing them out/getting them injured right before what counts the most which is the NCAA tournament? [Reply]

Im not "old school" so I don't really get it. I see it in the NFL too which is really egregious but you never know what can happen especially when you play 3 days in a row. Getting to play in KC as a #1 vs elsewhere is a such a small advantage that resting your starters and getting everyone healthy after a rigorous season has by far more value. But coaches are coaches and they have alot of pride. They think resting means weakness. [Reply]
Less risk of injury in basketball than football. Plus, all three accomplishments mean something in a kids potential 4 years; winning regular season, winning the conference tourney, and how well you do in the national tournament. Unlike other sports, it all means something. [Reply]
