2023 – A new beginning for the Royals. Matt Quatraro era begins. A year to see which of our young players will make up the core going forward. Can Bobby Witt Jr become a superstar SS or will go to the hot corner? Will Brady Singer take the next step forward? Will Salvy be Salvy? Will Big Vin or Pratto take first base? Will they find a position for MJ? Who else emerges from the youth movement? Not to mention the development of the new downtown stadium.

OKChiefs is about the dumbest motherfuckers on this site. The guy just bitches about everything. The Chiefs, the Royals, and the Tigers. He is a fan of all three of those and all he ever does is bitch about them. No matter what. [Reply]

Cueto and Zobrist came at a high price. Hindsight is 20/20 so it was obviously worth the expense. I was all for these trades at the time as well. Go all in while you have the chance. The window was open and the Royals took their shot. Those windows arent there for every team, especially small market ones.
I remember my wife bemoaning how Cueto was pitching down the stretch. I told her the Royals didnt trade for him for his regular season pitching. They traded for him to pitch in the post season. He was nails in the post season. That was just a very fun and memorable year of Royals baseball. [Reply]

No excuse for Maikel Garcia either as the voters recognized San Francisco rookie Patrick Bailey at catcher and he didn't start the season in the majors either.
I'm now curious to see how the Royals fared in the Fielding Bible Awards.
This showed up a day late on my feed since I apparently posted a pic of the ALCS celebration after midnight, but fuck it.... enjoy 8 year anniversary (plus a day).
