NFL factories like Georgia, Alabama, LSU who use NIL to get any players they want. They recruit the best and the ones who don’t work out ship to sub level teams while the great players off the sub level teams go to them.

I mean it was already like this but the descent of college football began with the BCS. Crowning a 'true national champion' is a dumb and nonsense idea. The bowl system was fine and debating who should be national champion was part of the fun of it.
