More to come!

Several teams agree: Josh Simmons had best tape of any OT last year. And they aren't very concerned with recovery on the torn patella tendon. More of the concern is maturity/character. But he's going to the ideal, veteran-laden place.

the #chiefs get LT Josh Simmons out of Ohio State. If Simmons didn't suffer a torn patellar tendon he would have been the first tackle off the board. I had one team tell me he was the most athletic and talented tackle tape they watched. There are some maturity issues, but this…

The #Chiefs have selected #OSU OT Josh Simmons at No. 32, a player recovering nicely from a torn patellar tendon. They are comfortable with his rehab and did endless homework on it. https://t.co/awdb0JhPed

Will he be ready by training camp?

Veach knows it's a gamble and it's one he feels he has to make after the mess of left tackle for the 2024 Chiefs

What a pick. Rest of the league is in shambles at the prospect of playing a protected Patrick Mahomes.

This is a home run. Especially getting a 5th to move back a spot. I would have been okay with moving up a few spots for him.

Dude would have been a top 10 pick.

We have a stop gap, and now… finally… our franchise LT

Anyone can be injured in football. It's a great pick with a lot upside.

1) We were an injury away from starting Wanya again.

2) Moore may not be good enough, we don’t know.

3) Jawaan is gone after this year.

This makes all the sense in the world especially for an elite talent that may need time to ease in.

Rock & roll. I like it. Jawaan's salary shifts to Trey after next season & this dude slides in.

Picking where they do, a good move.

This was goddamn stupid as hell and I have nothing more to add.

Good luck with hoping this guy does something that literally nobody in the history of the league has ever done - come back from a blown patella to be an effective staring tackle.

It's literally never happened.

But hey, super double grafts for the win, right?!?
