Niece on the wife's side is having labor induced tomorrow night at 10PM. The sister in-law wanted the wife to drive with her from Springfield, MO out here and that sounded great but it's January and being such a long drive I couldn't let myself let them make that drive alone. So after two days of driving here I am and I'm not sure if I'm going to make it home by Saturday if that's when the Divisional is played. That really sucks. I was thinking maybe Scho might buy me a $100.00 lunch and give me the skinny on the best place to watch the game. I'm staying at the La Qunita close to Harrah's so I could watch there maybe but I just don't know.

I’ll reach out to them to confirm. Thanks for the heads up. Appreciated. No way we can keep up with all the chapters in season. Too many these days take up the free time of our volunteers. Usually we will get a heads up. Thanks again [Reply]

1. No food. You gotta go outside to a food truck and may loose your seat.
2. Place is so loud you cannot have a conversation with someone standing right next to you.
3. Takes 20 minutes or longer to get a drink. Standing at bar for 20 minutes blows.
4. The DJ screams and yells on every Chiefs play. Barely hear the game.
5. Not enough seats
6. Grungy, dark and dirty
Once was enough. Stupid way to watch a game. [Reply]
That's no Bueno for me. I like to not only watch what's going on, but hear it too. Half the time you got several people asking "what happened"?
Well, dumbshit, if you were watching the game maybe you'd know. And now you're asking me, so now I'm missing the game because I have to explain it to your dumb ass.
If I can't watch it at home, I'll check out a replay. Maybe. [Reply]

I dont actually make the changes. We have a webmaster that volunteers his time. But, I do coordinate bringing on new chapters and keeping up the list. We just updated the AZ chapters this am. [Reply]

I was looking at the San Antonio chapter as I was researching this a few weeks ago when the Chiefs weren't on regular TV. I haven't heard of a Chiefs contingent meeting regularly at the Chicken-N Pickle that you list. Definitely could exist, I just haven't seen it (which is a shame as it is fairly close to me) or heard anyone bring it up as a spot or promoted on their social media.
The two main spots from what I have seen here in San Antonio where Chiefs fans regularly meet up and the places prioritize the game (with sound) over any of the Texas teams:
McFinnigan's Pub
Pizza Italia
Just thought I'd let you know in case would be helpful to anyone looking on your site. [Reply]
Well, this all changed as things do when there's women and babies involved.( The mother and baby are doing great!) Anyway, I'm heading out in the morning for Springfield so that gives me two and a half days to get home in time to watch the game from the comfy confines of my living room. I appreciate the feedback and Scho's offer to put together a get together although I didn't get my $100.00 lunch.
