I think we can narrow our potential free agent signings this off-season to guys coming off rookie deals in the 24,25,26 year old range, based on the past few years

He's a little speedier DE type that had success working about solo blocks on the edge. He'd fill a similar role in KC.
Yeah, i like Ebukam as a stop-gap sort of guy who can contribute immediately. He'd be especially handy if we go with more of a developmental DE in the draft. [Reply]
I like Bates & Vonn Bell, Engram would be alot of fun with Kelce but that won't happen, McGlinchey would solidify the RT spot, Daron Payne would be a monster but doubt we'd pay him since we will be paying Jones, Billings or Robinson would be solid, Brandon Graham is old but kinda fits the profile of what Veach has been doing at the DE spot. I imagine the Ravens will be looking to trade Dobbins for peanuts to get his dissent off the team.
Anybody else looking to make that trade!? The Chiefs will seemingly have two 7ths (and maybe a 3rd if Fenton's pick activates, but I doubt it) and three 6ths.
Dobbins is due 1.8m next year, would be a free agent in 2024, and would absolutely crush it as a RB1 in this system.

Feels like a Veach special.
If he was pissed about getting 12 touches in the playoffs with the Ravens, imagine how he'd feel getting no more than that every game with KC?
I'd probably guess the Chiefs will pass but you never know.
That said, I do like Dobbins as a runner and he wasn't too bad of a receiving option at Ohio State. Baltimore hasn't used him much in that capacity either.
The real question if he's moved would be how cheap? He was a 2nd round pick but he's had quite a few injuries already, including an ACL and another knee tweak this year. He also has just 1 year left on his deal. I can't fathom giving up much for that. Maybe a 6th. [Reply]
