I beg to differ, Mahomes was under duress almost from the moment he got the ball all day long… the line, particularly the right side, flat out got taken to the woodshed [Reply]
The offense moved the ball down the field all day long... they just kept turning it over.
Niang got his ass kicked, but it didn't really stop the chiefs from moving the ball. [Reply]
If we didn’t gift wrap 3 early turnovers, especially the Kemp INT that would have been a TD, you all wouldn’t be saying anything about the pass protection….it was good enough to win going away today if we don’t cough the ball up, and it is only going to get better [Reply]

To be honest the left side has looked worse through the first two games. We've essentially used 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 6th round picks over 3 years and given Thuney a boatload of money. Granted, necessary when your two tackles get injured.
Guess we'll have a better idea mid-season. But at a minimum I think the people laughed at for saying an entirely new OL MIGHT need some time to gel can take a victory lap. [Reply]
Growing pains of a young and developing O-Line. This entire unit will only get better as the season progresses. Absolutely 0 reason to pull any single one of them. [Reply]
Yeah a guy that has started 2 games, before today, got beat by an All-Pro DE in Bosa. The real issue is that we never rolled any help for him, not even a chip and release, NOTHING. [Reply]

A bit of positivity from this account on a dreary Monday.
Lucas Niang was credited for no pressures on Sunday and posted a very good 75.2 overall blocking grade (75 run block, 72.2 pass block).
Really like to see that he excelled against mediocre pass rushers.
