The #Patriots are moving on and so is the greatest coach of all time.
Bill Belichick won’t be New England’s coach in 2024, per me and @TomPelissero, as his celebrated 24-year tenure, one that included 6 Super Bowl wins, is over. A new era awaits. pic.twitter.com/QRqfe2lkHh

Chargers are really the only fit. If Bill was capable of winning despite poor QB play he'd be doing it already in New England. And he's too old to roll the dice on a rookie. There's only one team out there with a legit franchise QB and an open head coaching spot. [Reply]
Sucked as a head coach at Cleveland so bad they move to Baltimore one year after he was fired
Lucked into Tom Brady in the 6th round, although in fairness you could say the same thing about Bill Walsh and Joe Montana (3rd round pick)
Got saved in the 2001 playoffs by the now infamous Tuck Rule call
Lost the following draft picks for cheating: 2008 first-rounder (Spygate), 2016 first-rounder & 2017 fourth-rounder (deflated balls)
Created a coaching & front office tree that has done noting but destroy other NFL franchises, his coaching & front office tree is more like his coaching & front office kudzu
Basically shit his pants since TB12 left NE
GOAT my ass.
He was the last coach to win a playoff game in Cleveland before the 2020 season.. [Reply]
The Chargers have the cheapest owners in the league, they have a terrible cap situation and are basically gonna have to purge it and they are in a division with the Chiefs and Sean Payton.
Why would he go there?
Washington is the most likely option, based on teh fact that the owner will pay him whatever he wants. [Reply]

NFC East is tougher than the AFC West. The Commanders roster is straight ass. They are headed for a total rebuild. Chargers have a QB and other solid talent across the roster. They're as good as it gets. He doesn't have to win the division to break Shula's record and show he can be competitive without Brady. But if he goes to Washington it will likely be worse than the situation he just left. [Reply]
