Rays for the sweep.
Tampa is too good with one of the lowest payrolls in the league too. Impressive how they manage to put good teams together usually with low payrolls.
That franchise knows how to scout, develop players (especially pitching). I have nothing but admiration and respect for that organization. I hate them of course because they’re in the AL east but much respect for them. I like the way they’re run from top to bottom and just the way they play baseball. [Reply]

Very possible. Without Muncy, I’d probably give the Cardinals a slight lineup edge. Scherzer is better than Wainwright but not by so much that it’s a huge advantage and plus, Wainwright has a serious clutch bone in the post season. Honestly this is probably pretty close to a toss up. I want no part of betting it, except maybe under 7.5 runs. [Reply]

New York has had plenty of seasons recently where most of their sports fans have sucked. So I'm not crazy about Boston advancing. A fan base that has been spoiled with riches yet acts like they have the biggest chip on their shoulder. [Reply]

Only if they get to Scherzer early...as well as Waino has pitched, his profile now (not earlier) doesn't usually fare well in postseason. Power stuff usually rules, but I hope I am wrong. [Reply]
