Chiefs prez Mark Donovan, when asked this AM about potential new stadium options, said the team has considered options in state of Kansas. They like Arrowhead and legacy of Lamar Hunt’s stadium, but have been pitched by Kansas developers on a bunch of options. Something to watch.
On the positive side, if they move the team to Kansas I'll only be one state away instead of two states. It'll theoretically cut my drive time in half. [Reply]

Oh man, you should probably get to the hospital. That bike really messed up a brilliant mind. [Reply]
Meh, it might save me 10 minutes of drive time but I really like Arrowhead. And no downtown stadium. Those suck. Arrowhead has plenty of room for tailgating and parking. [Reply]
If the Royals leave... knock down Kauffman and build around arrowhead. Make it a megaplex or some shit. Or don't knock down Kauffman and make it into something -- incorporate it into game day experience or an off season type of attraction... man idk [Reply]

They're already confused. I can't tell you how many times I've heard "Kansas Chiefs" here in Dallas. I used to correct them, but they're fans of other teams, what do they really know anyway? [Reply]
Also, fuck every single one of these multibillionaire assholes who refuse to put up their own money, demand taxpayer money then threaten to leave if the county/city/state don't fund their shit [Reply]

Now I imagine the problem is that the Hunts would rather just own the property and thus control everything.
yeah use to be, hey us taxpayers will build you a new stadium. But the taxpayers own the land and we will split parking lot money.
Now the owners want to own it all. But still want the taxpayers to put up a billion yet the taxpayer putting up the billion have no control over anything. [Reply]
