Feel free to discuss any future speculation, theories. Anything from the books is fair game to post. Everything that has been broadcast on TV or from HBO. No spoilers needed.
If you watched or know the events that will take place in a unaired episode that has not been broadcast on HBO, you must put all the information and comments in a spoiler tag.
Do not post any media of any kind involving actual content from unaired episodes without being in a spoiler. The only exception to the spoiler rule is content publicly posted from HBO and or the GOT actor themselves. Teasers, promos, trailers etc.
Any person unable to follow the spoiler rules will be banned from this thread. 14 days for first offense. Perm banned from the thread for a 2nd offense.

You not being caught up on current content doesn't create a spoiler situation. If it bothers you that much stay out of the thread. [Reply]

yeah, no way Bran learns that he has the power to effect the past and not use it. Otherwise his whole story was pretty much a waste (other than letting us know who Jon's parents are). [Reply]

Bran the Builder I doubt, but it's at least a remote possibility. I think the lord of light idea is just silly.
Of course we can't really correlate any of this to the books because the only thing that we know for sure was a GRRM idea and not a DnD concept is Hoder's origin. And that may play out differently in the book.
I'd go on to say that, at this point, it's ridiculous to try and use book references as a justification for anything new (meaning not in print in books 4 or 5) that happened last season. Season six is for all intents and purposes completely removed from the canonical events of A Song of Ice and Fire. It's its own thing. At least until we get Winds of Winter and see what matches. During one of Bran's dreams, he said he saw water approaching Winterfell and it rushed over the walls and filled the castle with water and he saw bodies floating in the water.....is it possible, that the horn melts the wall? [Reply]

No, but it's possible that some seafaring folk might take and temporarily hold Winterfell. [Reply]

I thought that prophecy already played out with Theon and the Ironborn taking over Winterfell? [Reply]
