2023 – A new beginning for the Royals. Matt Quatraro era begins. A year to see which of our young players will make up the core going forward. Can Bobby Witt Jr become a superstar SS or will go to the hot corner? Will Brady Singer take the next step forward? Will Salvy be Salvy? Will Big Vin or Pratto take first base? Will they find a position for MJ? Who else emerges from the youth movement? Not to mention the development of the new downtown stadium.

You're such a flaming moron it's incredible. [Reply]

I think it's definitely a longshot, but I'd never try to pretend to ever know what's going on in Greinke's head. As you said, he did come back to this season of shit, so who knows?
It's pretty meaningless, but I would just really like to see him get his 3000th K in a Royals uniform. We haven't seen very many milestones like that come out of this organization.
I'm probably delusional, but I think with the offensive parts we currently have, and a returning, healthy Vinnie, and then add in some even competent pitching, and we're probably 20+ wins better. It would be fun to see Greinke on that type of team in 2024, even if they are realistically a year or two away from being a legit playoff contender. [Reply]
That pitch sequence to Altuve just now. I called every pitch before it happened. I've only watched Ragans pitch maybe 5 times. You get a feel for what's a good pitch in this situation and what's a bad pitch. Obviously anything that Altuve can hit toright field breaks the game open. That low slider that altuve layed off of and then a low backfoot he didn't swing at. Mixed the high fastball in perfectly and the last two pitches of the inning were absolute perfection. Really reminds me of greinke but a lefty. What a mind this kid has, what a gamer. [Reply]
