The point is the Colts supposedly impressive defense is a product of playing against weaker offenses.
The only top 10 offense they faced all season shredded them. [Reply]
Chiefs are allowing 5.3 yards per play at home. Colts are allowing 5.3 yards per play on the road.
Chiefs are gaining the most yards per play in the AFC at home. Colts are a tenth of a yard ahead of the Broncos in yards gained per play on the road (and rank right around the middle of the league).
Yards per play (IMO) is one of the more important stats to look at. It’s one of the harder stats to skew. Total yards is easily skewed by garbage time, pace of play, turnovers, etc. Total points allowed/scored can also be skewed by field position, turnovers, special teams scores, etc. [Reply]

5.5 yards per play.
Not that it matters, but the Chiefs are gaining a ridiculous 7.4 yards per play on the road. That’s almost a full yard better than the second best team (LAC). [Reply]

Crowd noise will be a factor...
KC has gone toe-to toe with some top offenses on the road...40 at NE and 50 at the Rams.
Chiefs should win by 10+ points...do they have anyone that can handle Hill? They obviously dont have anyone to cover Kelce as they are 32nd against TEs. That's the beauty of finally getting Watkins back...it's pick your poison time again like at the beginning of the year. They were shredding people as they didn't have the defensive horses to cover everyone. [Reply]
