What a disaster that game was. I expect they'll still win in 5 or 6 due to the sheer talent differential, but that was a perfect storm of choking (Lowry), idiocy (Nurse), and bad luck (DJ Augustine?). [Reply]

I don't know. Orlando has been playing pretty good ball since right before the all star break. I still assume Toronto will get their shit together and win the series, but at this point I wouldn't be surprised if either Orlando won the series or pushed it to 6 or 7. [Reply]

During the regular season they ended up 22nd in 3p%. They aren't very good in that area and the Pistons are the only team that was worse than them and that are in the playoffs. [Reply]

After that game 1 (and just how bad/tentative Lowry looked) nothing would surprise but the talent differential in that series is pretty significant. [Reply]

Are you referring to the series where the 73 win team had to add a Durant to beat LeBron and LeBron became the 1st player in NBA Finals history to average a triple double?
Yes, I’m sure he’s really still hurting from that one. [Reply]

That has nothing to do with what I’m talking about though. Stop deflecting. I’m talking about Durant taking Lebron’s soul with that 3 in his face then in a similar situation in 2018 Lebron ran away to avoid embarrassment again.
I guess we shouldn’t expect anything less from the guy that had Nike confiscate a video of him getting dunked on by a HS kid. [Reply]
