That pic is hilarious. CEH just casually running past the enormous hole. Mahomes just staring at the hole wondering wtf is going on.
The fact that he lost 4 yards on that play should be the evidence of game rigging that conspiracy theorists should present.
We have to get away from RPOs. Clyde doesn't have the vision to see holes when he's not staring directly at them or the speed and quickness to cut into one when one opens up. Even if the hole is going to close, at least show you have the vision to see it and attempt to get through. [Reply]
I’m no lover of Clyde but I don’t think that picture is really fair. He was crossing over from the left and had all of his momentum going toward the right sideline at that moment. You can see he stops to consider engaging that hole, but between the time it’ll take to make that cut and then the two defenders converging on it doesn’t seem like it’s remotely as clear cut as the still picture. It's outside zone from the shotgun, look at his shoulders guys. His aim point isn't suppsoed to be there and it's gonna be hard for any RB to get back to that hole out of the gun.
We do it that way to use the RPO game, but it's just tough for any RB. [Reply]

He just does not look like he has the foot speed or change of direction to be elite at those plays. We really need more foot speed at this position. Running wheel routes you need someone to pull away from the LB's. The screen game requires change direction and speed as well. [Reply]
