It's like The Network meets The Exorcist. For those who were around in the 70s, I think you will get a big kick out of this.
This is fantastic
Extremely well executed
One of the more original and enjoyable movies I've watched in a bit [Reply]

Yep! Thanks to the recommendation here - I was able to watch it on AMC+ (includes Shudder).
Even though I was only a little kid during this time period (mid-70's) it just felt like they got everything right, I was definitely feeling the furniture and colors on that set, looked like our house when I was a kid! [Reply]
Doesn't look too cheeseball, Eckhart brings an air of depth and class, action looks good, and I LOVE Olga Kurylenko. I'd watch her balance her checkbook if it was on TV.. [Reply]
Watched this the other night. The story seemed pretty silly and there were action scenes even more unrealistic seeming than usual. It was a Statham film, I felt like I had a good idea of what to expect going in and still felt this way. Wouldn't recommend
edit: Josh Hutcherson is very punchable and plays his role well [Reply]

Considering it was a typical Statham action flick, I lowered my expectations and in the end actually enjoyed it. Shrug [Reply]

I think Kurt Russell's kid is gonna be a fine actor. [Reply]

This was a better movie than I thought it would be since I never gave 2 shits about wrestling as a kid. But holy hell was it depressing as fuck. Great movie, but depressing.
Went and watched the new Mad Max Furiosa today and it also wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Lots of car chases, torture, and explosions. If Waterworld, Taken, and Pulp Fiction had a threesome and produced a kid, it would be called Mad Max Furiosa. [Reply]
