Honestly seeing how pitchers are getting these returns he probably should be thinking about trading guys like Barlow or Zimmer or Brentz but I feel like that's less likely than Whit. [Reply]
Exhibit A. Granted we don't have anyone in Kimbrel's class, and Madrigal's injured, but the White Sox legit gave up their 2B for the next half decade to get Kimbrel. White Sox bullpen is definitely stacked.
The White Sox paid a massive price for Craig Kimbrel: second baseman Nick Madrigal and reliever Codi Heuer, sources tell ESPN.
When I said at the top of the show that Cubs had the chance to remake themselves for the next five years in the next two hours, this is what I meant.

He won’t feel any of the heat. His draft picks show he’s not worried about his job at all, he’s acting like someone who will be in KC as long as he wants regardless of the 2-3 winning seasons every 15 years model he’s implemented. [Reply]
A guy on MLB Network says several teams are checking in on Barlow, lot of interest in him, but none of them are willing to pay the price the Royals want at the moment. [Reply]

I'm good with holding onto him if we don't get the haul some of these other teams are receiving. [Reply]
