What's the difference between this and say a regular bench press other than the range of motion is different?
You don't get the stability component. So you don't get the work in your stability muscles and your core the way you would with a barbell. Can still make progress with it if that's all you have. [Reply]
So my setup is finally looking good in the garage, but the local tractor supplies are all out of stall mats so I don’t have a hood deadlift surface. Will probably try to diy some kind of crash pad situation.
Quite satisfied with the Titan rack. Some small scuffs from shipping but no big deal. [Reply]
After being away from the gym for about a month due to a severe gout attack and tennis elbow I’m starting to regain some strength back. Going to lower the weight next week for more reps, trying not fuck up my elbow again.

From a little research, seems like citrulline malate is generally considered better for athletic performance. Curious if others have found otherwise, but think I'll give it a shot. [Reply]
Who wants to point me to a half decent plan that I can do three days a week? The only gym I’ve got is a planet fitness so I’m assuming it’s mostly machines.
I’ve been out of shape for way to long and need to start working on the that. [Reply]

Planet fitness is great to start out. They have a thirty minute workout with machines and lite cardio on a timed circuit. Nice starting point with little to no thought about it needed. They also have a personal trainer that you can talk with for free and come up with an actual plan once you have a bit of baseline strength built back up from that 30 minute circuit. [Reply]
