Sucks, but Brentz and Zimmer there. What can you do? Matheny put out there probably his two best bullpen guys besides Barlow to hold the lead. Brentz struggled with his command and Zimmer left a slider up. Is what it is.

Not really. The Royals dominated the series for almost a decade till COVID year, when Sox went 9-1 against KC.
This year, they’re only 6-5 vs. KC. Hardly domination.
But the White Sox are a FAR more talented team than KC at the major league level right now so they absolutely SHOULD be dominating the Royals based on their personnel.
I’ve been saying since the beg. of the season they should absolutely run away with this division and leave everyone else in the dust. They are a strong pennant contender. [Reply]
